Baton Rouge, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - KT Harrell netted 28 points, hitting 5- of-9 from 3-point range, to pace the Auburn Tigers past the LSU Tigers, 81-77, in SEC action at the Maravich Center.

Antoine Mason contributed 24 points and eight rebounds with five steals in the winning effort for Auburn (11-11, 3-6 SEC). Cinmeon Bowers tallied a double- double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who ended a four-game losing streak.

Jordan Mickey notched a double-double of 23 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots to lead LSU (16-6, 5-4), which has dropped two straight decisions. Tim Quarterman came off the bench to net 17 points, while Jarell Martin added a double-double of his own with 14 points and 16 boards. Keith Hornsby poured in 11 points in the loss.

Auburn connected on 40.5 percent of its first-half field goal tries, including 6-of-12 from 3-point range, to take a slim 41-39 lead into the intermission. LSU made 45.7 percent of its attempts in the period.

The visitors boosted their shooting accuracy to 45.8 percent in the second half, and connected on 15-of-18 from the free-throw line to pad the lead. The hosts dipped a bit to 41.9 percent shooting, making just 1-of-8 from beyond the arc as they watched the Auburn lead grow.

Auburn outscored LSU from the charity stripe, 20-15, and held a 20-14 advantage in points off turnovers. LSU outscored the visitors in the paint in the loss, 44-30.
