Manhattan, KS (SportsNetwork.com) - Nino Williams netted a team-high 19 points as the Kansas State Wildcats coasted to an 84-66 victory over the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks in a non-conference tilt at Bramlage Coliseum.

Marcus Foster contributed 16 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (4-3), who snapped a two-game losing skid with the win. Jevon Thomas provided 12 points and seven assists for KSU.

C.J. Carter paced the Mavericks (3-3) with 22 points. Rylan Murry had 11 points and Tre'Shawn Thurman grabbed nine boards.

KSU took a 37-31 lead into the break after it outrebounded the visitors, 25-11, in the opening 20 minutes of the contest. The Mavericks were limited to 40 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

The Wildcats pulled away in the second stanza as they sank 60 percent of their field goal tries, including a 6-of-12 clip from 3-point range.

KSU escaped with the lopsided decision despite converting only 11-of-24 free- throw attempts. Omaha, which picked up a road win at Marquette on Sat. Nov 22, dropped to 1-3 in away games with the loss.
