Iowa City, IA (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Clemmons and Aaron White each tallied 14 points for the Iowa Hawkeyes as they routed the Northern Illinois Huskies, 70-49, in non-conference action at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Adam Woodbury helped out with 12 points for the Hawkeyes (4-2), who have won back-to-back contests. Gabriel Olaseni added 10 points, and Jarrod Uthoff blocked five shots.

Aaric Armstead scored 13 points for the Huskies (2-1), who lost their first game of the season. Jordan Threloff had nine points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Huskies had a tough time out of the gate, as they shot just 25 percent from the field in the opening half. The Hawkeyes shot 40.7 percent from the floor and hit 8-of-9 at the free-throw line to take a 34-20 lead into halftime.

Both teams improved in the second half, with the Hawkeyes shooting 51.9 percent from the floor, compared to the visitors' 31 percent mark. The hosts ran away with it, leading by as many as 24 points with 3:41 left to play.

Iowa capitalized on turnovers, outscoring its opponent 22-13 in points created from those opportunities.
