Bloomington, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Stanford Robinson provided the Hoosiers with 15 points off the bench as Indiana defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers, 81-69, in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at Assembly Hall.

James Blackmon, Jr. added 13 points for Indiana (6-1), which also received 11 points courtesy of Yogi Ferrell. Troy Williams contributed 10 points, while Robert Johnson handed out a game-high nine assists.

Chris Jones paced the Panthers (4-3) with 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the floor. Josh Newkirk chimed in with 16 points and eight assists, while Michael Young netted 13 points.

The Hoosiers connected on 60.7 percent of their field goal tries, including a 5-of-7 clip from 3-point range in the opening period. Pitt went into halftime trailing, 45-37, after it was held to 36.1 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

The Panthers continued to struggle after the break, hitting on only 36.1 percent of their shots from the floor and just 1-of-12 from beyond the arc. Indiana led by as many as 23 in the second stanza.

Despite the loss, Pitt enjoyed a 44-36 edge in the rebounding battle.
