Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Louis Dabney had 18 points and Jonathan Stark scored 15, as the Tulane Green Wave claimed a 68-65 win over Houston in American Athletic Conference action at Hofheinz Pavilion.

Dylan Osetkowski contributed 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Green Wave (13-5, 4-2 AAC), who still had some gas left in the tank after playing a combined four overtime periods in their previous two games.

The Cougars (7-10, 0-6) suffered their sixth straight loss, despite a career- high 31 points from Danrad Knowles and a 16-point, nine-rebound effort from Devonta Pollard.

Tulane scored the game's first eight points, but Houston weathered the early storm and answered with an 18-2 run over the next six minutes to go up by eight. Dabney provided an early spark for Tulane with 14 of his 18 points coming in the first half, which ended in a 33-33 tie.

The second half featured four ties and seven lead changes, although Tulane took care of business at the foul line, converting 13-of-15 attempts. Stark shot a perfect 4-for-4 at the charity stripe in the final 30 seconds to help seal the victory for the Green Wave.

The Cougars struggled from the perimeter with a dismal 3-of-17 effort (.176) for the game, and they were also outrebounded by 11.
