Wailuku, HA (SportsNetwork.com) - Isaac Fleming scored 15 points off the bench as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors held on for a 74-70 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers at War Memorial Gym.

Mike Thomas added 12 points, Garrett Nevels and Negus Webster-Chan each had 11 and Aaron Valdes finished with 10 for Hawaii (4-1).

Chris Jones drained five 3-pointers and tallied a game-high 19 points for Pittsburgh (2-1). Michael Young tacked on 13 points and James Robinson netted 12.

After shooting 56.7 percent from the floor in the first half, Hawaii led, 40-36, at the break. Pittsburgh only made 44.8 percent of its shots in the first half.

The Panthers cooled to 41.4 percent shooting in the second period, while the Rainbow Warriors fell to 47.6. Pittsburgh actually pulled ahead with 7:56 left, but the Rainbow Warriors used a 7-0 run to go up for good.

Pittsburgh lost despite a 32-25 advantage in rebounds.
