Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Patricio Garino netted 18 points and pulled down six rebounds as his George Washington Colonials outlasted the Saint Louis Billikens, 75-72, in an Atlantic 10 Conference clash at Charles E. Smith Center.

Kevin Larsen chipped in with 16 points for George Washington (12-3, 2-0 A-10), while Kethan Savage scored 12 points. Joe McDonald contributed 11 points and five rebounds, and Yuta Watanabe added 10 points in the win. The Colonials have won six games in a row.

Milik Yarbrough scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed six boards to pace Saint Louis (8-7, 0-2), which has dropped three straight decisions. Davell Roby collected 14 points and pulled in five rebounds before fouling out.

Both teams were hot in the first half. Saint Louis netted 59.3 percent of its shots in the opening period, and took a 40-32 lead into the intermission. George Washington wasn't very far behind, hitting on 59.1 percent from the floor.

Although the Colonials shot 40.7 percent from the field in the second half compared to the Billikens' 50 percent touch, George Washington did make 19- of-22 from the free-throw line to help the team complete the comeback. Saint Louis only made 2-of-4 from the charity stripe in the frame.

The Colonials owned a 19-7 advantage in points off turnovers over Saint Louis, and outscored the Billikens from the free-throw line, 23-5, in the win.
