Fresno, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyrone Wallace notched a double-double on 21 points and 10 rebounds as the California Golden Bears bested the Fresno State Bulldogs, 64-57, in non-conference action at Save Mart Center.

Wallace shot 8-of-14 from the field for the Golden Bears (5-1), who have won back-to-back games. David Kravish and Jordan Mathews tallied 14 and 10 points, respectively, while Kravish also grabbed six rebounds.

Marvelle Harris knocked down a game-high 27 points on 9-of-17 shooting with seven rebounds for the Bulldogs (1-6), who have dropped five straight. Paul Watson followed with 13 points.

The visitors looked strong early on, shooting 53.8 percent from the floor in the first half and holding the Bulldogs to just a 36 percent shooting mark. California led, 35-27, at halftime.

The Bulldogs shot an identical 36 percent from the field in the second half, with the Golden Bears just a little better at 37.9 percent. The California lead grew as large as 15 points with 4:45 left to play in the first half.

The visitors were aggressive in the paint, where they outscored the hosts 40-12.
