Bronx, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Sengfelder tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds in leading the Fordham Rams to a 68-58 overtime victory against the Monmouth Hawks in a non-conference battle at Rose Hill Gym.

Mandell Thomas and Eric Paschall each had 15 points for Fordham (3-4), while Ryan Rhoomes grabbed 12 rebounds.

Deon Jones finished with 16 points for Monmouth (4-5).

Fordham carried a 31-22 lead into halftime. The Rams connected on 48 percent from the floor in the period, while Monmouth had only seven field goals in the opening period.

The Hawks only made 34.6 percent of their shots in the second half, but the Rams had only eight field goals in response. Monmouth's Collin Stewart hit a 3-pointer with one second to play to force overtime.

The Rams controlled the extra session, hitting 9-of-11 free throws to run away with the decision.

Fordham outscored Monmouth, 30-16, in the paint.
