Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Damion Lee tallied 22 points as the Drexel Dragons bested the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, 59-36, in a non- conference clash at Daskalakis Athletic Center.

Lee shot 7-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-4 from the perimeter for the Dragons (2-4), who have won back-to-back games. Rodney Williams netted 12 points and Tyshawn Myles grabbed 10 rebounds.

Norville Carey scored 16 points on 7-of-11 from the floor for the Golden Eagles (3-2), who have lost two of their last three. He was the team's only double-digit scorer.

The Golden Eagles struggled to get their offense going, shooting just 32 percent from the field in the opening half. The Dragons shot 46.4 percent and held a 35-21 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Dragons improved to shoot 50 percent from the floor, pulling away from the visitors, who shot a mere 31.8 percent. Drexel led by as many as 25 points with 2:25 left in the contest.

The home team outscored the visitors 20-6 in points off turnovers, and held a 38-24 advantage in rebounding.
