Rosemont, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Billy Garrett scored 15 points to lead five players in double figures as the DePaul Blue Demons rolled to an 80-62 victory over the Drake Bulldogs in a non-conference joust at Allstate Arena.

Myke Henry added 13 points, Jamee Crockett tallied 12, Forrest Robinson chipped in 11 off the bench and Durrell McDonald had 10 for DePaul (2-0).

Chris Caird netted 19 points for Drake (0-2) and Jordan Daniels finished with 17.

In the first half, DePaul shot 53.6 percent from the field. Drake only hit on 32.1 percent in the period and trailed, 38-25, at the break.

Although the Bulldogs improved to 53.6 percent shooting in the second half, it was not enough to catch DePaul, which secured the victory by shooting 57.1 percent in the final 20 minutes.

Drake did outscore DePaul in the paint (32-28). DePaul had the edge in points from 3-point range (27-12).
