Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Kendall Pollard scored a career-high 20 points, and the Dayton Flyers cruised to a 61-45 win over Saint Louis in Atlantic 10 Conference play inside UD Arena.

Jordan Sibert was next in line with 18 points for the Flyers (15-2, 5-0 A-10), who entered the day tied with VCU for the top spot in the conference standings. Dyshawn Pierre recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds to help lift Dayton to its eighth straight win, and the team's first 5-0 start in league play since 2003-04.

Ash Yacoubou had 12 points and Mike Crawford scored 10 off the bench for the Billikens (9-9, 1-4).

Crawford scored all 10 of his points in the first half, but the Billikens shot just 29.2 percent as a team in the opening frame as they trailed, 27-22, at the break.

Dayton shot 52.6 percent from the floor in the second stanza and held an 11-2 scoring edge at the foul line over the final 20 minutes. Sibert provided a boost with 11 points and three steals in the second half.

Saint Louis committed 15 turnovers for the game and shot just 5-of-15 at the foul line.
