Omaha, NE (SportsNetwork.com) - Kris Dunn scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists to lead his Providence Friars past the Creighton Bluejays, 74-65, in a Big East Conference clash at CenturyLink Center Omaha.

LaDontae Henton added 18 points and hit 9-of-9 from the free-throw line for Providence (14-5, 4-2 Big East), which has won three of its last four games. Tyler Harris came off the bench to chip in 13 points in the win.

James Milliken tallied 22 points to pace Creighton (9-10, 0-6) in the loss. Rick Kreklow scored 12 points, and Devin Brooks added in 10 for the Bluejays, who have dropped seven contests in a row.

Providence connected on 48.4 percent of its first-half field goal attempts, and made 4-of-8 from 3-point range to take a 34-24 lead into the intermission. Creighton made 40 percent of its tries in the frame, and missed all but one of its nine attempts from beyond the arc.

The Bluejays dipped down to 39.1 percent shooting in the second half, but did make 6-of-10 from 3-point range. But the Friars kept their distance by hitting on 47.4 percent from the field, and added 20-of-27 from the free-throw line to skate to an easy win.

Providence outscored Creighton in the paint, 30-20, and held a 35-25 advantage in rebounding to pick up the road victory.
