Storrs, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Boatright tallied 18 points and seven assists as the Connecticut Huskies downed the UCF Knights, 67-60, in an American Athletic Conference tilt at Gampel Pavilion.

Amida Brimah contributed 14 points and four blocks for UConn (10-7, 3-2 AAC) as it snapped a two-game losing streak. Omar Calhoun scored 11 points, while Daniel Hamilton produced 10 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Huskies.

Justin McBride recorded a double-double for the Knights (9-9, 2-5) with 11 points and 10 boards. B.J. Taylor netted 13 points, while Adonys Henriquez and Daiquan Walker scored 10 points apiece.

The Huskies took a 39-33 lead into halftime after they sank 10-of-17 attempts from 3-point range in the first period. UCF was limited to 37.9 percent efficiency from the floor in the opening 20 minutes of action. UConn led by as many as 18 in the first half.

The Huskies shot an even 50 percent from the field in the second stanza to stay in front. The Knights hit on just 35.7 percent of their field goal tries after the break.

UConn outscored UCF, 18-2, in points off turnovers. The Huskies assisted 21 of their 25 makes from the floor.
