Boulder, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Askia Booker netted 21 points and led his Colorado Buffaloes over the San Francisco Dons, 72-55, in non-conference play at the Coors Events Center.

Josh Scott contributed to the win for Colorado (5-1) with 12 points and six rebounds.

Mark Tollefsen scored 12 points for San Francisco (4-3) in the defeat. Reserve Matt Christiansen had 10 points, while Kruize Pinkins collected nine points and six boards for the Dons.

The game was close going into halftime, as San Francisco held a slim 34-32 lead after the opening 20 minutes. The Dons connected on 14-of-26 field goal attempts but turned the ball over eight times. The Buffaloes took advantage of those turnovers and scored 13 points off of them in the opening period to keep the contest tight.

Colorado shot exceptionally well in the second half, scoring on 14-of-21 tries from the field, including a 5-of-6 mark from 3-point range.

The Buffaloes won the turnover battle, 18-8, and then dominated on points off of turnovers, 29-8. The Dons didn't convert a single free throw attempt all night (0-of-3).
