Boulder, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Josh Scott tallied 21 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks, as the Colorado Buffaloes made easy work of the Drexel Dragons, 65-48, in the season opener at Coors Event Center.

Scott was 8-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 at the foul line for Colorado (1-0). Wesley Gordon scored nine points off the bench.

For Drexel (0-1), Tavon Allen and Damion Lee netted 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Colorado shot just 38.5 percent from the field in the first half, but Drexel was even worse at 31 percent, as the Buffs carried a 33-29 lead into intermission.

The Buffs increased their field goal percentage to .462 in the second half, while the Dragons continued to struggle (.269).

Colorado outrebounded Drexel, 43-34, and also outscored the Dragons at the foul line, 17-9.
