San Luis Obispo, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ridge Shipley scored 21 points to carry the Cal Poly Mustangs to a 78-60 victory over the Delaware Blue Hens in non-conference action at Mott Athletics Center.

Brian Bennett netted 12 points and David Nwaba chipped in 10 for Cal Poly (2-1).

Cazmon Hayes tallied a game-high 22 points and Kory Holden tacked on 12 for Delaware (0-2).

The Mustangs ran out to a 48-22 advantage at halftime. They connected on 54.5 percent of their field goal tries in the opening period, while limiting the Blue Hens to six field goals.

Delaware was unable to take advantage of Cal Poly's shooting woes in the second half (.257), as it only made 38.5 percent from the floor itself in the frame.

Cal Poly had a 19-12 advantage in second chance points.
