Butler Bulldogs VS. Oklahoma Sooners

Recap: Butler vs. Oklahoma

Nassau, Bahamas (SportsNetwork.com) - Isaiah Cousins totaled 13 points and eight rebounds as Oklahoma tripped up Butler, 59-46, in semifinal action at the Battle 4 Atlantis.

Jordan Woodard and Tashawn Thomas each added 10 points for the Sooners (4-1), who had beaten No. 22 UCLA in the quarterfinals. Buddy Hield was limited to five points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Kellen Dunham poured in a game-high 17 points for the Bulldogs (4-1), who couldn't maintain momentum from knocking off No. 5 North Carolina on Wednesday.

Oklahoma broke open a close game early by scoring 16 in a row and going up 24-8 with 6:25 left in the first half on a Dinjiyl Walker free throw. The Sooners' margin at the half was 30-14 on a Cousins bucket.

Butler was only able to reduce its deficit below double digits on one occasion -- a layup from Andrew Chrabascz to make it 36-28 just over two minutes into the second half.

Oklahoma then reeled off the next 11 points and were ahead 47-28 on a triple from Cousins just after the midway point before holding the Bulldogs at bay for the remainder.
