Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarryn Skeete scored just four points but drained the game-winning bucket in the final minute to lead the Buffalo Bulls to a 69-67 victory over the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the season opener at Alumni Arena.

Justin Moss tallied a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds for Buffalo (1-0) and drained all 11 of his free-throw attempts. Shannon Evans added 17 points and Lamonte Bearden tallied eight points and six assists.

For SDSU (0-1), Jake Bittle had 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, Cody Larson (15 points, 15 rebounds) and Zach Horstman (13 points, 12 rebounds) both had double-doubles and Skyler Flatten netted 11 off the bench.

SDSU carried a slight 28-27 lead into the halftime locker room despite shooting just 39.3 percent from the field in the opening frame. Buffalo shot a mere 27.3 percent but kept things close by going 9-of-12 at the foul line.

The Jackrabbits held a seven-point lead midway through the second half, but the Bulls ripped off a 14-1 run to take a six-point advantage, 54-48, with seven minutes to play. SDSU climbed back to take a 66-65 lead with 1:06 left on a Bittle layup, only for Skeete to deliver the game-winning field goal 25 seconds later.

SDSU was plagued by a poor showing at the foul line (14-of-29), while Buffalo was impressive from the stripe (24-of-30).
