Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - James Woodard scored 16 points to lead the Tulsa Golden Hurricane to a 53-35 victory over the Auburn Tigers as part of the MGM Grand Main Event at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Rashad Ray netted 13 points and Rashad Smith added 12 points and eight rebounds for Tulsa (3-1), which will face Oklahoma State in Wednesday's title game.

Cinmeon Bowers racked up 17 points and 15 rebounds for Auburn (2-2).

Tulsa clawed its way to a 28-21 halftime advantage by sinking 47.4 percent from the floor, including a 6-of-10 showing from beyond the arc, in the first half. Only one of Auburn's nine field goals in the frame came from 3-point range.

The Tigers cooled to a dismal 27.3 percent shooting effort in the second half, while the Golden Hurricane pulled away by converting on 47.6 percent.

Auburn outscored Tulsa in the paint (26-14). Tulsa had the edge off of turnovers (21-12).
