United States Air Force Academy, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Corey Hawkins netted 22 points and grabbed six rebounds as the UC Davis Aggies outlasted the Air Force Falcons, 81-75, in a non-conference battle at Clune Arena.

Josh Fox chipped in with 19 points and five rebounds for UC Davis (8-1), which has won two games in a row. Both Josh Ritchart and Neal Monson came up with 10 points in the winning effort.

Trevor Lyons scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting to pace Air Force (6-4), while Kamryn Williams tallied a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds. Matt Mooney and Zach Kocur each notched 16 points in the losing effort. The defeat snapped a three-game Falcons win streak.

UC Davis connected on an impressive 61.9 percent of its shot attempts in the first half, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range, to take a 35-26 lead into the intermission. Air Force hit on 37 percent from the field in the period.

The Falcons made 45.7 percent of their tries in the second half, and hit 12- of-15 from the free-throw line to shave off three points from the UC Davis lead. The Aggies made 44.4 percent from the field and went 20-of-22 from the charity stripe to maintain an advantage.

UC Davis outscored Air Force from the free-throw line, 25-16, and held a slight 26-20 edge in bench scoring in the win.
