Colorado Springs, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Max Yon rejected a layup attempt by D.J. Felder as time expired to lift the Air Force Falcons to a 66-65 overtime win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in a non-conference thriller at Clune Arena.

Yon paced the Falcons (7-4) with 16 points. Marek Olesinski added 14 points, and Zach Kocur scored 10 points. Kamryn Williams tallied 12 points, six rebounds and four assists to help Air Force collect its fourth win in five outings.

Darion Rackley netted a game-high 23 points to lead JSU (7-6). D.J. Felder contributed 17 points and seven boards, while Jaquail Townser racked up seven boards and six assists.

The Gamecocks went into the break trailing, 30-28, after they were limited to 38.7 percent efficiency from the floor in the opening period. Air Force made good on 50 percent of its field goal tries in the first half.

Trevor Lyons drained a free-throw attempt to give the hosts a 57-55 lead with 18 seconds remaining in regulation. Rackley made a layup as time expired to even the score and force an extra session.

Yon sank a jumper on the opening possession of overtime to give the Falcons the lead and they stayed in front the rest of the way. Yon scored seven of his points in the extra session before his game-sealing rejection sealed the victory for Air Force.

Despite the loss, JSU finished with a 36-31 advantage in total rebounds. The Falcons outscored the Gamecocks, 22-12, in the paint.
