In early 2007, the band was dropped by Columbia, which allowed them to sign with Hollywood records only a few weeks later.

One of their most notable accomplishments in 2007 was to appear at the White House where they performed the National Anthem. August of the same year saw them making multiple appearances on television show on a variety of networks. They appeared as guests on the Miley Cyrus show Hannah Montana along with presenting awards at the Teen Choice Awards along with Miley Cyrus yet again. The same year saw them release their self-titled album that climbed to number five on the charts along with giving the band two singles off the same album to make it to number five or better.

The band has also branched out into their own charitable works by donating 10 percent of their earnings to the Change for the Children Foundation. The Foundation is of their own design and uses its funds to support such charities as the American Diabetes Foundation and Nothing But Nets. Nick Jonas, who has diabetes, has testified at the U.S. Senate to gain their support for more research in this field of medical study.
