Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – A field of 13 3-year-olds is shaping up for this year’s 154th running of the $1 million Queen’s Plate at Woodbine Racecourse. The 1 1\/4-mile classic goes off on Sunday, July 7 with an approximate post-time of 5:45 p.m. (ET).<\/p>\n
Four of the 13 starters could well come from the barn of trainer Mark Casse. Listed as definite for Casse are Woodbine Oaks runner-up Spring in the Air and Plate Trial winner Dynamic Sky. Listed as possible are Jagger M and Kaigun.<\/p>\n
Woodbine Oaks champ Nipissing and stablemate Niigon’s Glory are expected from the barn of trainer Rachel Halden.<\/p>\n
