The 4-year-old colt will start in the 7th race, an allowance event at seven furlongs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are very happy with how Paynter is doing,&#8221; said Zayat Stables&#8217; racing and stallion manager Justin Zayat. &#8220;Obviously, seven furlongs is a tough distance for his first race back. But it&#8217;s time to get him started, and set him up for a big summer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trained by Bob Baffert, Paynter will be making his first start since winning last year&#8217;s Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park, more than 10 months ago. He will be ridden on Friday by Rafael Bejarano<\/p>\n<p>Paynter came down with an infection after winning the Haskell on July 29.
