(SportsNetwork.com) – Richie Incognito and at least one other Miami Dolphins player are accused of mocking the ethnic background of a team staff member and making crude jokes about the person’s wife, according to a report.

The National Football Post, citing two sources in its report Tuesday, said the incidents occurred “in view of other team staff members and (were) allowed to go on without being curtailed by team management or front-office staff.”

Incognito was suspended indefinitely by the Dolphins on Nov. 3 after Jonathan Martin abruptly left the team, saying he was bullied by his fellow offensive lineman.

Incognito is accused of using a racial slur against Martin and threatening violence against him and his mother in a voicemail Martin turned over to the NFL, which hired an investigator to lead an independent probe of workplace misconduct in the Dolphins organization.

Incognito has denied bullying Martin but said he may have been too harsh on his younger teammate and regrets using racist language. He declined to talk about a report saying Dolphins players were instructed to “toughen up” Martin, according to Fox Sports.

New York attorney Ted Wells has begun his investigation of the Dolphins and spoke with Martin last week, though Martin declined to say what the two men discussed.

A source told the National Football Post that Incognito “would sometimes dress in garb from the staff member’s culture and then make profane jokes about that culture.” On several occasions, Incognito said the staffer’s wife “had sexual relationships with several members of the team,” according to the report.

The Dolphins are aware of the recent allegations, ESPN reported.
