Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly announced Monday that quarterback Nick Foles has a concussion.

Foles left Sunday’s 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys after three quarters with a head injury. The Arizona product, who made his second straight start for an injured Michael Vick, connected on just 11-of-29 passes for 80 yards before exiting.

Rookie quarterback Matt Barkley completed 11-of-20 passes for 129 yards and three interceptions in relief.

Vick has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

“The threshold for playing Vick does not change because of Foles’ injury. We won’t put Vick at risk,” Kelly said Monday.
