Play was halted for several minutes as the Orioles&#8217; training staff attended to the young standout third baseman and eventually removed him from the field on a cart.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old had gone 2-for-4 with a run scored prior to departing.<\/p>\n<p>Machado&#8217;s 2013 campaign is almost certainly over with Baltimore having just six more regular-season games following Monday&#8217;s tilt.
