{"id":3472,"date":"2013-08-11T20:06:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-11T20:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/staging.stub.com\/hq\/news\/harris-wins-by-1-in-florida\/"},"modified":"2013-08-11T20:06:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-11T20:06:00","slug":"harris-wins-by-1-in-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stub.com\/hq\/news\/harris-wins-by-1-in-florida\/","title":{"rendered":"Harris wins by 1 in Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Palm Harbor, FL (Sports Network) &#8211; Katy Harris carded a 3-under 69 on Sunday to earn a 1-stroke victory at the IOA Golf Classic.<\/p>\n<p>Harris, who claimed her first career victory on the Symetra Tour, finished the tournament at 7-under-par 209.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I hit the ball well all week, I putted well all week and when I hit an errant shot, I was able to get it up-and-down and make the putt,&#8221; said Harris.<\/p>\n<p>Harris traded a birdie at the first with a bogey at the second before making the turn at 6-under with birdies at the fifth and eighth.<\/p>\n<p>She tripped to another bogey at the 13th, but bounced back with birdies at the 14th and 16th to earn the win.<\/p>\n<p>Alejandra Llaneza carded a 4-under 68 during her final round at Innisbrook Golf Resort&#8217;s Island Course to finish in second at 6-under, while Ginger Howard fired the low round of the day with a 5-under 67 to take third at minus-5.<\/p>\n<p>Victoria Park (70), Samantha Richdale (71) and Kris Tamulis (73) shared fourth at 3-under 213.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Palm Harbor, FL (Sports Network) &#8211; Katy Harris carded a 3-under 69 on Sunday to earn a 1-stroke victory at the IOA Golf Classic.
