Bogota, Colombia (SportsNetwork.com) – Diego Velasquez fired a 6-under 65 on Sunday and rolled to a 6-stroke win at the Colombia Open.<\/p>\n
Velasquez finished at 18-under-par 266. This was his first PGA Tour Latinoamerica victory, and just his third top-10 finish in 27 tour starts.<\/p>\n
The Colombian got off to a quick start with birdies at one and three. He moved to 15-under thanks to a birdie at the par-3 seventh. Velasquez birdied three of five holes from the 13th en route to the easy win.<\/p>\n
Alex Moon was just three back at the turn, but played the final nine in even- par. He closed with a 2-under 69 and finished alone in second at minus-12.<\/p>\n
