{"id":28745,"date":"2015-01-22T01:50:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-22T01:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stub.com\/hq\/news\/lakers-bryant-set-for-mri-on-shoulder\/"},"modified":"2015-01-22T01:50:00","modified_gmt":"2015-01-22T01:50:00","slug":"lakers-bryant-set-for-mri-on-shoulder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stub.com\/hq\/news\/lakers-bryant-set-for-mri-on-shoulder\/","title":{"rendered":"Lakers&#8217; Bryant set for MRI on shoulder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) &#8211; Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant will have an MRI on his right shoulder on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Bryant played through the injury in Wednesday&#8217;s loss to the Pelicans, shooting 6-of-14 from the floor for 14 points over 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The 36-year-old guard was favoring the shoulder in the fourth quarter after throwing down a dunk and even hit a left-handed floater before exiting to the locker room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve played with a torn labrum, so I&#8217;m not too concerned,&#8221; Bryant said after the game.<\/p>\n<p>Bryant has been in-and-out of the lineup for the past month. He is averaging 22.6 points per game but making just 37.2 percent of his shots.
