He then played in the International Premier Tennis League, a franchise-based exhibition competition in Asia and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Tsonga withdrew from the Hopman Cup this week because of pain in the arm and said he is &#8220;still suffering from a forearm inflammation that prevents me from being at 100 percent of my capacities in a competition.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 2008 Aussie runner-up Tsonga said he will need three more weeks of treatment before returning to action.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 Aussie Open will begin January 19 in Melbourne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) &#8211; Plagued by a right forearm injury, former runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga decided to pull out of the upcoming Australian Open.
