The Blue Jackets have subsequently placed the fourth-year NHL veteran on injured reserve, with center Sean Collins recalled from Springfield of the AHL to fill the roster spot.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old Atkinson&#8217;s eight goals in 33 games are tied for third among Columbus players this season.<\/p>\n<p>Collins has appeared in 13 goals with the Blue Jackets over the past three seasons, including two in 2014-15.
