New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Kentucky remains the undisputed top-ranked team in men’s college basketball.<\/p>\n
The Wildcats are the unanimous No. 1 team in the Associated Press poll for the fourth straight week, receiving all 65 first-place votes and a total of 1,625 points from a nationwide media panel.<\/p>\n
Duke remained second and was followed by Virginia and Wisconsin, which both moved up two places from last week. Louisville fell one spot to fifth after Saturday’s 58-50 loss to Kentucky, ahead of Villanova and Gonzaga.<\/p>\n
Arizona dropped five spots to eighth after Tuesday’s 71-67 loss to UNLV. Iowa State and Utah round out the top 10.<\/p>\n
The second 10 consists of Texas, Maryland, Kansas, Notre Dame, St.John’s, Wichita State, West Virginia, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Ohio State.<\/p>\n
Washington had the biggest drop within the poll, plummeting eight spots from 13th to 21st after Sunday’s 62-57 loss to Stony Brook. Baylor, Northern Iowa, Colorado State and Georgetown are the last four teams ranked.<\/p>\n
