Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) – The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly traded wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n
According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens will acquire a sixth-round pick in exchange for Boldin, who reportedly refused to take a salary cut to help the Super Bowl champs get under the salary cap.<\/p>\n
The Ravens had acquired Boldin three years ago in a trade with Arizona.<\/p>\n
Boldin spent his first seven seasons with the Cardinals before joining the Ravens. He caught 65 passes for 921 yards with four touchdowns this past season and was a big factor in Baltimore’s Super Bowl run.<\/p>\n
In four playoff games, Boldin hauled in 22 passes for 380 yards with four scores. In the Super Bowl victory over the Niners, he caught six balls for 104 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old Florida State product has 772 career receptions for 10,165 yards with 58 touchdowns in 10 NFL seasons. He was a five-time 1,000-yard receiver with Arizona, but never reached that plateau in three seasons with the Ravens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
