The third judge gave Lara a 117-111 edge.<\/p>\n<p>Smith (26-7), a former IBF title holder, has lost two of his last three bouts.<\/p>\n<p>Lara dropped his previous fight against Saul &#8220;Canelo&#8221; Alvarez in a controversial split decision five months ago.
