New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was among those selected as the AFC’s top players for Week 13 of the NFL season.

Joining Fitzpatrick on the honor roll were Indianapolis linebacker D’Qwell Jackson and Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee.

Fitzpatrick threw for 358 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions in a 45-21 win over Tennessee last Sunday to capture the offensive award. His six TD passes set a single-game franchise record and his passer rating of 147.5 was the second-highest by a Houston quarterback, behind only the 147.7 set by Matt Schaub in 2011.

Jackson posted seven tackles and returned a fumble 35 yards for a touchdown in the Colts’ 49-27 win over Washington to earn the defensive honor. His 35-yard score was one of six touchdowns of at least 30 yards by Indianapolis during the game.

Scobee garnered the special teams nod after kicking the winning 43-yard field goal in Jacksonville’s 25-24 triumph over the New York Giants. His kick with 28 seconds remaining helped the Jaguars rally from a 21-0 deficit to secure the largest comeback win in franchise history.

Others considered for the offensive award were San Diego receiver Keenan Allen, who caught 11 passes for 121 yards with two touchdowns in a 34-33 win over Baltimore; Denver running back C.J. Anderson, who rushed for 168 yards on 32 carries and caught a touchdown pass in a 29-16 win over Kansas City; and Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, who threw for 370 yards with five touchdowns against the Redskins.

Defensive nominees included Miami linebacker Jelani Jenkins, who notched 16 tackles in a 16-13 victory over the Jets; and Houston’s J.J. Watt, who had three tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a touchdown reception against the Titans.

Buffalo’s Colton Schmidt was up for the special teams award after three of his five punts finished inside the 20-yard line in a 26-10 win over Cleveland.
