The team must decide during the offseason whether they want to exercise an option to extend his contract through 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Redskins won two consecutive games earlier this season with McCoy under center.<\/p>\n<p>McCoy replaced an ineffective Kirk Cousins in the second half of the Redskins&#8217; Week 7 matchup against Tennessee and rallied the team to a 19-17 decision.
