Owings Mills, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – The Baltimore Ravens have reinstated safety Will Hill from his latest suspension and will have him on the active roster for Sunday’s game against Atlanta.

Hill was forced to sit out the first six games of the season for a violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, his third suspension in the past three years. The 24-year-old was waived by the New York Giants in June following the most recent one.

A 10-game starter for the Giants in 2013, Hill also was banned for the opening four games of last season for a substance abuse infraction and received another four-game suspension in 2012 for a violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Hill registered 77 tackles and two interceptions over 12 total games for the Giants last season.

Defensive lineman Christo Bilukidi was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Bilukidi hurt his ankle during the Ravens’ 48-17 rout of Tampa Bay last Sunday.
