The third-year pro had sat out Denver&#8217;s first three games after fracturing part of the tibia in the same leg in August, but was back in action following the team&#8217;s Week 4 bye.<\/p>\n<p>Under the IR\/designated to return rules, Trevathan will next be eligible to play in the Broncos&#8217; late-season AFC West clash at rival San Diego on Dec. 14.<\/p>\n<p>Trevathan started all 16 games for the 2013 AFC champion Broncos last season, amassing a team-best 129 tackles along with three interceptions, two sacks and three forced fumbles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) &#8211; Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan was placed on injured reserve\/designated to return on Tuesday, just over a week after he returned to the field from a previous injury.
