Amsterdam, The Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) – Ian Woosnam fired a 5-under 68 on Sunday and he cruised to a 5-stroke win at the Dutch Senior Open.<\/p>\n
Woosnam finished at 11-under-par 208. This was his fifth victory on the European Senior Tour, but first since 2011.<\/p>\n
The Welshman had two birdies and two bogeys in the first four holes. It was all pars and birdies from there.<\/p>\n
Woosnam notched back-to-back birdies at eight and nine as he made the turn at minus-8. He parred the first five holes of the back nine, then pulled away from the field as he birdied three of the last four holes.<\/p>\n
Second-round leader and last week’s winner Philip Golding stumbled to a 1-over 74 in the final round. He shared second place at minus-6 with George Ryall (73) and David J. Russell (68). Golding made double-bogey on the ninth to make the turn at 6-under, and he parred the final nine holes.<\/p>\n
