He allowed four runs over 7 1\/3 innings of work.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old has struggled to regain his All-Star form with Atlanta in 2011, a season cut short by a knee injury. The Orioles decided to let him go after posting a 5.32 ERA over his last eight starts with Norfolk.<\/p>\n<p>Asencio, 30, joins his fourth major league team and will make his season debut upon his first appearance.
