Farrell made the announcement in the postgame press conference following Boston&#8217;s 4-2 loss to Toronto on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Lester, however, will start Friday if he isn&#8217;t dealt by Thursday&#8217;s non-waiver trade deadline.<\/p>\n<p>Workman is 1-3 with a 4.13 ERA over 11 games (eight starts) for Boston this season.
