The veteran reliever entered the contest in the sixth inning with the contest tied at 2-2, but was rocked for four runs on four hits while recording just three outs.<\/p>\n<p>The effort raised Marmol&#8217;s season ERA to 8.10 while dropping him to 0-3 on the season. Over his four most recent outings, the onetime Cubs closer has permitted eight runs on nine hits while walking four in a span of 3 1\/3 innings.<\/p>\n<p>Reliever Henry Rodriguez had his contract purchased from Triple-A New Orleans to take Marmol&#8217;s place.
