Okayama, Japan (Sports Network) – Australian Brendan Jones closed with his second straight 4-under 68 on Sunday to win the Mizuno Open by three strokes.<\/p>\n
Jones finished at 19-under-par 269. This was his 13th win on the Japan Tour and with the victory earned a spot in the British Open.<\/p>\n
The Australian birdied the fifth and followed with an eagle on the par-5 sixth. He moved to 19-under with a birdie on the eighth, but he gave that stroke right back with a bogey on No. 9 at JFE Setonaikai Golf Club.<\/p>\n
Jones traded a birdie for a bogey from the 11th and again from the 14th. He birdied the last to seal the win.<\/p>\n
Kyung-Tae Kim shot 3-under 69 in the final round to end alone in second at minus-16. Makoto Inoue carded a 68 to grab third at 13-under-par 275.<\/p>\n
