He was 0-2 with a 5.04 earned run average in five combined starts with Single-A Bradenton and Triple-A Indianapolis this season.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, the 26-year-old earned all-star honors, however, after posting a 6.66 ERA through his final 11 starts he was ultimately left off the postseason roster.<\/p>\n<p>To make room for Locke, the Pirates optioned Casey Sadler to Indianapolis.
