Griffin underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.<\/p>\n<p>Griffin, who has not pitched this season, was placed on the 15-day disabled list at the end of spring training.<\/p>\n<p>The right-hander posted a 14-10 record with a 3.83 ERA in 32 starts last season.
