He played 10 games with Triple-A El Paso for a rehab assignment and hit .243 with a home run and four runs batted in.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old veteran was hurt during a Cactus League game in early March. He played in just 14 games last season because of wrist and knee issues.<\/p>\n<p>San Diego optioned pitcher Kevin Quackenbush to El Paso to open a roster spot.
