Tournament co-host Billy Andrade and his playing partner Bill Haas are also a shot off the pace at minus-11.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champions Morgan Pressel and Jay Haas are alone in fourth place after combining for a 9-under 62.<\/p>\n<p>The duo of Stricker and Van Pelt opened with back-to-back birdies before parring the third. They added birdies at Nos. 4, 6 and 8 to make the turn at 5-under.<\/p>\n<p>A run of four straight gains from the 11th pushed Stricker and Van Pelt to 9- under.
