Longwood, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Kendall Dye fired a 6-under 65 on Monday and she rallied to win the IOA Golf Classic.<\/p>\n
Dye ended 54 holes at 11-under-par 202 at Alaqua Country Club. This was her first win on the Symetra Tour.<\/p>\n
Second-round leader Hannah Yun closed with an even-par 71 to end alone in second at minus-8. Katelyn Sepmoree tripped to a 1-over 72 and finished third at 6-under 207. Reilley Rankin grabbed fourth at 5-under 208 after closing with a 1-under 70.<\/p>\n
Dye birdied the second, but gave that shot right back as she bogeyed the par-5 third. She ran off six straight pars from the third.<\/p>\n
Around the turn, she flew into the lead. Dye birdied three of the first four holes on the back nine to join Yun atop the leaderboard. After a par on No. 14, Dye birdied the par-3 15th and followed with an eagle on the 16th. With a 3-stroke lead, Dye parred the final two holes to seal the win.<\/p>\n
